Rescheduled Women in Leadership meeting to explore volunteerism

The next Women In Leadership meeting features Sandy Howe, Associate Director of Experiential Education and United Way committee co-chair, leading a discussion about the links between volunteerism and leadership.

What leadership skills can women gain through volunteering? How can those skills transfer to leadership in other areas, both personal and professional?

Howe will be joined by Jocelyn Titone, Marketing and Communications Coordinator with the Goodman School of Business, and Kristen Smith, Manager of Community Outreach Programs with Student Life and Community Experience.

This panel was originally scheduled for March, but has been rescheduled and will be held virtually for members of the Brock community.

All women and allies are invited to attend the monthly virtual meetings of Women In Leadership, a group that aims to support women in formal and informal leadership positions and encourage the next generation of potential women leaders.

When: Thursday, May 21 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Where: Via Microsoft Teams. Click here for details and instructions to join.
