Brock employees challenged to race to North Pole

For the second year in a row, Brock’s Health Management is challenging faculty and staff to ramp up their physical activity prior to holiday indulging.

Employees are encouraged to track their distance accumulated by walking, cycling or running between Nov. 29 and Dec. 20. The goal is to collectively move 10,442 kilometres — the distance from Brock to the North Pole and back again.

Register online through the Human Resources website to join the challenge. Once signed up, participants will be sent a tracking sheet that can be used to record daily distances. Everyone who returns the sheet at the end of the challenge will be entered to win a Campus Store gift card.

Health Management encourages consulting with a physician before starting a new exercise program.
