One of Brock’s many strengths is community engagement, which happens on multiple levels throughout the University and in the community. By extending our involvement into major festivals, sponsorships and events throughout the region, our bond with the community as “Niagara’s University” is further strengthened. This increases our brand awareness and visibility by cultivating engagement experiences with our target audience.
The Brock Street Team brings the Brock brand to life in fun and engaging ways. This could be meeting Boomer in a crowd, or a Street Team ambassador handing out summer swag to a future Badger.
Street Team staff are current students who receive training to talk about recruitment and academics, swimming and youth programs, athletics, Makerspace and Library services for the community, alumni opportunities, as well as their own Badger experience at Brock.
