Hey there, future Badgers!
In the Niagara Region, students can find many things to do so that we can get relief form busy study life.
The top one I recommend should be the Niagara Falls. As the largest falls in the world, there are many ways help you enjoy the natural beauty, which include Cruises, Journey Behind the Falls, or a helicopter ride. International Services also organizes a trip to Niagara Falls each year.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is a well-preserved 19th-century village in Ontario. The buildings are historical and artistic. You can also visit a number of wineries as Niagara-on-the-Lake is in the heart Ontario’s wine region.
If you love shopping, the Outlet Collection at Niagara is the best place for you. You can find many hot brands including Kate Spade, CK, and GAP etc., which will cost you a day to explore them.
Did you know the Bruce Trail is just around the corner on campus? If you love hiking, you should definitely go there. Moreover, there is the Decew Falls on the trail, which is small but very beautiful.
The last one I want to recommend is Port Dalhousie. There is a century-old carousel, with music played by an antique organ. You can also find serval bubble tea and ice cream shops. The best time to visit there is the summer, so that you can enjoy the beaches.
