Hello there Future Badgers!
School is almost over and with handing in my last set of assignments and preparing for the <much> anticipated exam season, I can’t help but reflect on how much of an amazing year my freshman year at Brock has been. Here is a list of all the wonderful things I experienced in my first year:
1. RESIDENCE. Living on Res has allowed me to make some of the most important friends in my life so far and has given me a new family. It has been my home away from home as I know that I can always count on someone to have my back.
2. INVOLVEMENT. Brock’s various clubs and organiazations have been pivotal in influencing my time here. I’ve had the privilege of being a part of Brock National Model United Nations (BNMUN) team, Brock’s North American Culture Show (Brock NACS) dance team, The South Asian Student Alliance (SASA) amongst many others. These clubs have allowed me to grow outside the classroom and have enhanced my time at Brock.
3. COMMUNITY. Brock consists of a community of strong, like-minded individuals who are always ready to help people around them and support them through thick and thin. At your time here, you are sure to be greeted by friendly faces who will go out of their way to ensure that you get the help that you need. Smily faces everywhere!
4. EVENTS. As an international student, being away from home is both challenging and could possibly get lonely at times. However, Brock and the Niagara Regions always have something or the other going on that could be of interest to everyone.
So what are you waiting for? Accept that offer and choose Brock as your home, welcoming the best four years of your life!
