A Relay!? For Life!? FOR LIFE!? You want me to run around and RELAY for the rest of my LIFE!?
Well…not exactly…it’s not a Relay for Life, it’s a Relay for Life. As in, a 12 hour fundraiser from 7pm to 7am March 6th-7th for the Canadian Cancer Society in hopes of raising as much money as humanly possible towards cancer research opportunities. This will be Brock’s 5th consecutive time hosting a Relay for Life fundraising event here on campus. Throughout the night, in teams of 7-10, Brock students have the chance to participate in games, activities, and watch their fellow students donate their hair so that Cancer patients can have a wig while they are going through their treatments! This year, a member of the Residence Life Staff has even offered to chop off her gorgeously long hair if she reaches her fundraising goal!
This is an excellent opportunity for Badgers to get involved here at Brock for a great cause! The best part is, it’s not too late to pick up a team and start fundraising! The event isn’t until this Friday, so you’ve still got a chance to participate!
