Kira Isabella posterIn the past the Brock University Student Union (BUSU) have gotten a numerous amount of  big ticket concerts to happen right here on campus. Performers such as Avici, Tommy Trash, The Sheepdogs and The Arkells have all made appearances. In my first year Steve Angello and Mac Miller graced us with their presence. This year BUSU was able to book the young and talented Kira Isabella! The students here at Brock University will be shinning up their belt buckles and cowboy boots for the night of February 11th. Kira will be performing right here on campus at Isaac’s Bar and Grill, which is our entertainment center here at Brock.

BUSU uses Issac’s Bar and Grill to host more than just concerts throughout the year. They host events such as comedy night, Monday night football, and they continue to bring back everybody’s favorite hypnotist Tony Lee. Their most recent event was Sunday’s Hockey Day for the NHL All-Star game. Students not only got to watch the game on the big screen but also had the opportunity to compete in a mini stick tournament, play bubble hockey, and have the chance to win leaf and raptor tickets! There is never a dull moment here at Brock!Issac's Bar and GrillIf you want to find out more about the events the happen here at Brock University follow Brock University Student Union and/or Issac’s Bar & Grill on Facebook.

About Vanessa

Hello Future Baby Badgers! My name is Vanessa and I am currently in my fourth year here at Brock University. Brock has been helping me pursue my love of children through their Concurrent Education program, where I am majoring in Physical Education and minoring in General Science. BrockU has become my home away from home with its close-knit community. Let me give you a little more information about myself. In my four years here at Brock I have been able to create a great experience for myself by participating in intramural sports, research studies, SNAP (Special Needs Activity Program), and many other events that happen in and around our beautiful campus. This year I will be working closely with one of my professors as an intern for one of her courses. I can’t wait to blog about all my experiences! Feel free to browse my blog and reply with any comments or questions.
