Hey future Brock Badgers!

I am excited to talk to you guys about this amazing group here at Brock that is geared towards bringing plays to life using various Drama in Education techniques! They’ve done various performances in the past which have been really successful, and this year they’re challenging themselves with an amazing Shakespearean Musical called “Starcrossed”, and let me just tell you… I’ve heard it’s going to be fantastic.

In the previous years, this group has used dramatic arts to connect with the St.Catharines community. This year they are putting on the show here at Brock over the weekend so that high school students can come and see what it’s all about! The show puts a twist to the classic love story, Romeo and Juliet with current songs that you’ll recognize from today’s pop culture. The story itself is told from the perspective of a high school student, and with beautiful costumes, witty humor and just good fun, the show will surely entertain and educate you! If you are a musical lover like me, I am looking forward to beautiful harmonies, melodies and the various stunning voices in the cast! However, I’m also looking forward to familiarizing myself with the classic J&R story! It’s been awhile since I’ve read the actual Shakespearean version, so I can’t wait to see how Brock will add a new twist to the traditional story!

Check out their facebook group to learn about the show times!

Stay awesome future Badgers!
