Hello all future Badgers!

If you haven’t looked out your window, I’ll fill you in…. BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE! So I thought I would give you a little encouragement today to warm your hearts!

First of all, long time no blog, so allow me to fill you in a little. I was lucky enough to have NO EXAMS last semester so I was able to have just about a full month off. That’s right. A full month to veg around the house while I ate, slept and enjoyed the Christmas merriment. However, as I came back to school this semester I couldn’t help but get a little nostalgic, THIS IS MY LAST SEMESTER OF MY UNDERGRAD.

So as you sit there reading this blog(all cozy in your new Christmas pj’s) I just wanted to share one tip of advice with you! Got your hot chocolate? Good! Okay, here is my advice… Go see Catching Fire it’s a great film. Just kidding, here’s the real advice from one student to another. It goes so fast. I can literally remember myself in grade 12 worried about what I’m going to do with my life, and where I was going to go to school. I remember being worried about if I’ll make friends or if I’ll just be a hobbit (also a good movie!) for the rest of my life. However, I am here to tell you that your University career will be over before you know it. So don’t fret the little things! Enjoy the little moments, like throwing your confetti in the air when you get your acceptance package, or tearing up as your parents drive away from your residence. Those moments are the moments that happen once in a lifetime. So take it all in and enjoy each moment you have as a University student!

I hope this calms your nerves and warms your heart on this freezing day!

Until next time Badgers!
