Furry Friends At Brock: The Puppy Room!

A couple of weeks ago I took advantage of my favourite student service Brock has offered during my four years here: the puppy room. My friend and fellow tour guide Krissa blogged about her experience in the puppy room as well — click HERE to see what she had to say!

I am a huge dog lover. In fact, one of my favourite hobbies is to surf the Ontario Humane Society’s adoption boards to see who’s up for adoption in my area (is that weird?) I just love looking at all the furry faces and making mental notes for when I adopt in a few years (I need a job and money first!)

I stayed for a solid hour, cuddling with all the super sweet doggies who were brought in from the St. John’s Ambulance therapy dogs program. Since it’s a stressful time of year with exams and essays, and since many students are living away from home (perhaps missing their own pets) Brock thought it would be a good idea to give students a chance to de-stress with some furry friends. I think it’s a wonderful program, which certainly gave me a good dose of happiness! Check out some of my favourite buddies below:

My favourite guy of all…

I’m really grateful Brock’s decided to bring this amazing program to students. Will you visit the puppy room when you come to Brock?
