On Tuesday morning after my sister’s lab, we went for a hike for an hour before my afternoon lecture. We could not ask for a better day with the sun shining and a clear day! It is a great sign that spring is coming (finally) 🙂 DeCew Falls/Morningstar Mill is a 5 minute drive or 1 bus ride with a 20 minute walk away from Brock University. It is a well known location amongst Brock students!

Below, is a picture from the top of the cliff looking down to the Falls and the Mill. To get down to the Falls, you need to find a safe spot to slowly climb down and walk back towards the falls. If you plan to venture down the cliff to see the Falls, wear old clothes and solid footwear. Located near the Falls is a haunted (abandoned) railroad tunnel that you can enter so far into as well! Click here for the haunted story! The Mill is also open for self-guided tours. The volunteers who are on site most of the time are also full of knowledge about the site 😀
