Brock University: Weekend Trip to Buffalo

Hey Badgers!

I had written a blog last term about how convenient it is for Brock students to access great shopping spots located just across the border in Buffalo, NY.

This past weekend, I took a quick day trip across the border for some shopping (just before I really buckle down and start my studying 😉 ) I again went to Walden Galleria, which conveniently has The Cheesecake Factory right next to the shopping mall. I had to take the opportunity to get some delicious, creamy cheesecake, and let me assure it, it was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying out their cheesecake when you get the chance 🙂

Now, because I only got some cheesecake to go from The Cheesecake Factory, I ended up at Applebee’s for a late lunch. They offer tonnes of great food and at very affordable prices (exactly what a university student needs)! They have an awesome deal which is the 2 for $20 deal. You get to choose an appetizer and 2 full sized entrees from a select menu, ALL for only $20! Click here to check out Applebee’s menu (keep in mind this is the USA site, which may differ from the Canadian site).

All this food for $20!

Here’s to wishing you happy eats Future Badgers! Keep up the good work the next couple months and we’ll see you on campus soon 😉

About Karen

Hey there Future Badgers! My name is Karen and I’m in my 4th year here at Brock University. I am in the Concurrent Education program with a teachable and minor in Human Geography. I had spent my first two years at Brock living in Decew Residence both as a student and a Living Learning Community (LLC) Peer Mentor. I’ve lived in my hometown of Toronto, ON my whole life until I started my amazing journey at Brock. As much as I miss the busy city life of Toronto, I have definitely fallen deeply in love with the small town, community feel that Brock offers. If you have any questions, feel free to comment on my blog. I hope to see some of you here for a tour of our lovely campus this Fall or Spring! Take care!
