Hey all! So I hope everyone had an exciting weekend and you also had a chance to make it out to Toronto for the Ontario Universities’ Fair or OUF as we like to call it.

It was so great getting to meet lots of future Brock students and

talk about my experiences as one myself. It was also exciting to see the new Brock booth we had set up at the fair. Take a look:) ————————–>

It was such a unique booth (in my completely unbiased opinion of course;) because it allowed for all of Brock’s different faculties to be represented, which also made it easier for students to find the right people to talk to about certain programs.

We also had a game called Spin to Win which students were able to play to try and win prizes like Brock swag and Tim’s gift cards.

I especially enjoyed meeting lots of eager future con-ed students who wanted to know what being in the program was like and the day-to-day life of a university student.

OUF 2012 was so much fun, and even though after two exciting and hectic days worth of sore feet and exhaustion, I’m actually already looking forward to OUF 2013!!!

About Katelyn

Hey everyone! My name’s Katelyn and I’m in my fourth year of the concurrent education program here at Brock at the Junior/Intermediate level with a teachable in French. I have always had a passion for working with children, so I knew that the Con Ed program here at Brock was the perfect fit for me! After I finish my five years here, I hope to work as a French teacher in an elementary school. I also hope to have the opportunity to teach in another country, since I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I grew up in Kitchener, Ontario, but have been fortunate enough to call St. Catharines my home for the past three years and I look forward to what sorts of adventures I will get up to during my last year of undergraduate studies here. This is also my third year as a Campus Experience Coordinator, so hopefully I can answer any questions you may have about being a university student!
