The Matheson Learning Commons is located on the main (second) floor of the Arthur Schmon Tower. It is a dynamic, student-centred space designed around the social aspects of learning. Featuring advanced technology, integrated service points and a variety of study spaces, the Matheson Learning Commons is designed to enhance the scholarly, creative and professional pursuits of the Brock community.

Fast fact: The Matheson Learning Commons opened in 2008 thanks to generous donations from the Brock University Students’ Union and Arthur Peltomaa, who named the Commons after his former professor and mentor, Bill Matheson.
