BioLinc’s home – Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex
Brock’s business incubator BioLinc, is located in the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex (CFHBC) on Brock University’s main campus. Open as of September 2012, the CFHBC advances Canada’s science and technology infrastructure and houses world-class work by researchers in areas like cancer, infectious diseases, biotechnology and green chemistry. The CFHBC is 176,000 square feet and has a mix of research labs, teaching labs, and offices. Since its official opening in September 2013, BioLinc has occupied approximately 5,000 square feet of the CFHBC. With BioLinc located in the CFHBC, BioLinc’s residents will be able to capitalize on the innovative research and knowledge transfer that happens in the complex. This allows for easy collaboration between scientific researchers and business entrepreneurs.
