Associate Professor

Dr. Saini is an Associate Professor at Brock University. He specializes in behavior analysis, with an emphasis on translational research. He has over 15 years of experience working as a behavioral scientist and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in over 10 different behavioral and/or psychology journals. Dr. Saini is a previous recipient of the Outstanding Research Award and Excellence in Teaching Award from the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis.
Dr. Saini’s current research involves studying canine behavior and cognition. Research is conducted through the lens of behavior analysis with a specific focus on studying the relationship between animals and humans, including the effects of dog-assisted therapy. This research is executed primarily in the interest of improving animal welfare while bettering human-animal relationships.
