Re-imagining Health Symposium 2019

The Re-imagining Health Symposium presented by Brock University is a collaborative and catalyzing event that will bring together health-focused researchers, practitioners, educators, health industry leaders, and policy makers to discuss the future of health care.

This exciting symposium has been designed very differently than traditional research conferences to highlight current evidence-based practices, and the promising-practices of today and tomorrow.

We have invited experts to present to health professionals on specific tangible skills that those in attendance will be able to take back to their workplaces as new parts of their skill sets.

Keynote presentations by:

  • Dr. Mustafa Hirji, Acting Medical Officer of Health and Commissioner Public Health Niagara Region
  • Dr. Zayna Kayat, Future Strategist at SE Health

We are also offering capacity-building workshops to attendees focused on a variety of topics such as;

  • knowledge translation
  • healthy-communities
  • data in healthcare
  • new medical technologies

As the first event of its kind at Brock University, the Re-imagining Health Symposium is expected to draw a large and diverse audience with varying interests in the health field.

At Brock, the health research we conduct in the areas of cancer, infectious diseases, bone and muscle health, environmental ergonomics, human sexuality, and more, is world-renowned.

Please join us October 16-17, 2019 for what promises to be an innovative and collaborative learning experience.

We will continually update the schedule as information becomes available.
