Alumni Ambassador Program

The alumni ambassador program is a network of alumni located around the world who are interested in helping raise the reputation of their alma mater by volunteering their time and expertise to share the Brock experience and spirit with fellow alumni, current and potential students, parents, and friends of the institution.

The Alumni Office is committed to the following strategic pillars:

  2. Community Engagement
  3. Reputation Enhancement

In keeping with these pillars, the Alumni Office offers a number of volunteer opportunities for alumni.

The Office of Alumni Relations plans reunions for Brock graduates celebrating their 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50-year reunions during Homecoming Weekend that require volunteer support. The reunion program is meant to encourage as many class members as possible to connect during their reunion year, to return to campus, and help support the institution through a class gift.

Class Reunion volunteers will assist in the creation of class-specific outreach and program plans.

Class Representatives will serve as ongoing liaisons between their graduating class and the University to help strengthen communication between our alumni and their alma mater through the promotion of relevant events and activities.

A Regional Ambassador may help the University with activities and events hosted in your region, provide local and cultural information to visitors from Brock University, support recruitment activities with prospective students in your area by sharing your Brock experience and supporting Brock’s social media presence.

Alumni living abroad can play an important role in raising our institution’s reputation, connecting alumni with other alumni living abroad and helping the institution with prospective and admitted students in their country by providing guidance on what to expect from the campus culture and helping students get answers to their questions quickly.

Volunteers may be asked to support traditional recruitment activities such as promoting Brock in their community or at a university fair, congratulating admitted students in their area, and sharing their alumni perspectives about Brock University.

The Brock University campus is busy with plenty of initiatives and we are often in need of support from our Brock community.

Campus Ambassadors are volunteers who assist with various events and activities at the University such as Move-in Day, stuffing acceptance packages, or offering a helping hand at alumni and community events when needed.
