On-the-Spot Admission Assessments

Transferring from a Canadian College or Canadian University?

On-the-spot admissions are available to students who are considering transferring to Brock from a public (1) Canadian college or (2) Canadian university and are interested in meeting with an Admissions assessor to review their admissibility.

On-the-spot admission assessments are available on campus every Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm in Brock Central, located on the 3rd floor of Schmon Tower.

Some programs are more competitive and are not appropriate for an on-the-spot admission assessment. These include Game Design, Game Programming, Engineering, and BBA Double Degree. This list may change depending on program availability and time of year. You may wish to check with us first to see if your desired program is an option for an on-the-spot admission assessment.

What to Bring to Your On-the-Spot Admission Assessments

You should know which undergraduate program you are interested in when you attend an on-the-spot admission assessment. If you are unsure, please email [email protected] to discuss your program options or review our Admission Criteria chart for a list of programs and admission requirements.

You must bring the following to Brock Central for your admission assessment:

  • government-issued picture ID and;
  • a copy, scan or picture of all Canadian secondary school transcripts and;
  • all post secondary transcripts from Canadian colleges or Canadian universities you have attended. Each transcript must show your full name, the name of the school(s), the name of the program(s) attended, and all grades completed to date and;
  • the application fee, if, after the assessment, you wish to proceed with the application. Full-time ($130) or Part-time ($55). Credit or debit only.
NOTE: If you have secondary or post-secondary transcripts from outside of Canada, we cannot provide an on-the-spot assessment due to the more complex nature of international admissions.

Who can Request an On-the-Spot Admission Assessment?

  • You have never applied to or attended Brock
  • You have never studied at the secondary or post-secondary level outside of Canada
  • You have completed most or all of your Canadian post-secondary studies
  • You have reviewed our admission criteria and believe you meet requirements for your desired program

We look forward to meeting with you on campus!

Since you will be visiting Brock, you may wish to participate in a campus tour. Check here for more information on campus tour availability.
