Mead's Course of Study in Germany: Leipzig & Berlin
The following information was gathered from the archives of the Karl Marx University (formerly the University of Leipzig) and the University of Berlin, by Hans Joaz for his book G.H. Mead: A Contemporary Re-examination of his Thought (1985). The following summary was assembled from page 18 of the text and from endnote 14 to Chapter 2 on page 218 of Joaz's book.
Mead spent one term at the University of Leipzig, trying to obtain a place at Wundt's laboratory. During that time he was enrolled in the following courses
