Professor Thomas Suspended

CHICAGO, April 15. — Professor William Isaac Thomas, sociologist, was suspended today from the University of Chicago Faculty. Harry Pratt Judson, President of the university, who is now in Washington, directed the suspension pending the inquiry into the arrest of the Professor and Mrs. Pearl Granger at a downtown hotel last week. Professor Thomas appeared in Morals court today, but the case was continued. Mrs. Granger was too ill to appear.
