Prof. G. H. Mead Funeral Services to Be Thursday

Funeral services for Prof. George Herbert Mead, chairman of the department of philosophy at the University of Chicago, who died on Sunday, will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in Bond chapel at the university. It was originally planned to have the services tomorrow, but the delay was made to permit time for the arrival of Prof. James H. Tufts from California. Prof. Tufts, who retired last year from the chairmanship that was taken over by Prof. Mead, was an associate of the latter for thirty-seven years.
