Mann Bill Goes Through House Without Material Amendment from Form Reported from Committee.

Washington, D. C., Jan 26 — The Mann white slave bill was passed by a viva voce vote in the house today without material amendment from the form in which it was reported from the committee on interstate and foreign commerce. Opposition was confined to constitutional arguments against provisions requiring keepers of disorderly houses to report to the commissioner general of immigration of persons within their houses who had come to the United States within three years, which, it was claimed, infringed upon states rights.
