Associate Professor back with two new children's books
Published on July 16 2014
Kari-Lynn Winters, an associate professor in the Department of Teacher Education, continues to find success in children’s literature.
Following her most recent books Buzz About Bees and Gift Days, both published in 2012, Winters has seen two of her latest books, Stinky Skunk Mel and No-Matter-What Friend, hit the shelves this year.
Stinky Skunk Mel is about a skunk that is sent to live at the outskirts of the forest, as none of the other animals want anything to do him, or his smell. But when a fire comes, Mel’s spray is just what is needed, proving that a little stink is important after all.
No-Matter-What Friend tells the story about a very special relationship between a boy and his old dog through rhyme. And although both the boy and the dog are growing older, their friendship never waivers and they know they can always count on each other.
