Tri-Agency Open Access Consultation

In November and December 2013, the James A. Gibson Library and the Office of Research Services collected feedback from Brock University stakeholders on Canada's draft Tri-Agency Open Access Policy

Results of the survey were presented as a collective response to the policy and are available in this report.

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) are considering a policy that would require federally funded peer-reviewed journal publications to be made freely available within one year of publication. This policy is modeled on the existing, mandatory Open Access Policy of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
