Assistant Professor Donna Szoke's interactive media installation will be in an upcoming international exhibition: CYBER INSECURITIES explores data collection and imaging surveillance practices in the United States, highlighting artists whose work makes visible experiences of tracking and being tracked in a digital age. Revealing the tight collusion between data collection and interpretation, the exhibition will explore how automation and surveillance systems enhance our ability to see with ever increasing imaging and data parsing, while fallible biases — in governments and commercial agencies —determine long term use of our personal information.
