There are some major changes to OSAP this year, so be sure to check out our 2012-2013 OSAP Guide.
When you are completing your OSAP application, you will select “Bachelor of Education” for your program of study. This applies to students taking the 1 year Bachelor of Education program, as well as students that are in year 5 of the Concurrent Education program.
There are a number of OSAP appeals that may increase the amount of OSAP funding you are eligible for. You can view the most common OSAP appeals on the OSAP Forms page.
Many Bachelor of Education students will qualify for the “Request for Review: Vehicle Exemption Level” appeal as a vehicle is required to attend placements. The “Request for Review: Adjust Local Travel” appeal is also common among Bachelor of Education students that are commuting.
Brock University offers numerous bursaries for students demonstrating financial need. The “Awards and Bursary Application” will be available online beginning August 1st for the 2012-2013 academic year. By submitting the single application, you will be considered for all Brock and donor bursaries.
