Maps & Geodata Services and Facilities

Maps and Geodata is the central depository for cartographic information on campus. It's collection of maps, air photos, geospatial data and services are available campus-wide in support of teaching and research, and also open to the general public for research purposes. Staff provide the following services:

  • Instruction/workshops for GIS and geospatial data use
  • Map use assistance
  • More about Geospatial Data Services
  • Computers and software are available to all students

    • Statistical software (R Studio; SAS; Minitab; SPSS)

  • GPS units (Garmin)
  • Colour photocopier (enlargement, 11x17 size available)
  • Study space is open to all students

Fall/Winter Term HOURS begin late Sept.:

Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Weekends/Holidays - CLOSED
READING WEEKS: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

SUMMER HOURS begin late April:

Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Weekends/Holidays - CLOSED
