Faculty of Education
Thank you for your interest in the Faculty of Education at Brock University. This academic year we are engaged in planning the new Teacher Education program which will impact all B.Ed programs across our faculty.
We are creating Consecutive and Concurrent programs that will encompass greater depth and breadth as well over 100 days of practicum
. All new Teacher Education programs will begin operating in September 2015.
The Faculty of Education has hosted numerous conferences and research events so far this year. We very much look forward to welcoming our colleagues to Congress which will be hosted by Brock University in May 2014. Drs. Dolana Mogadime and Nancy Taber are playing prominent organizational roles.
We value the work of all our people in the Faculty of Education including contributions made by faculty, staff and students who contribute through service, scholarship, teaching and learning. Partnership is integral to our work. This includes close ties with Aboriginal communities, government and non-government organizations, school boards, colleges and universities within Canada and abroad. Our ever expanding international partnerships include research, teaching, exchanges and practica.
Our programs and scholars are held in high esteem locally, nationally and internationally. Brock graduates and scholars are sought after: We are practice-focused researchers and research-grounded practitioners. We invite you to join our community – a place of discovery, innovation and academic excellence.
