Some of our residential field trips and enrichment camps take part in Brock University laboratories located in the Mackenzie Chown Complex. Use of these labs is courtesy of several Brock University departments including Biological Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science, and Physics. These Brock University labs are well equipped with advanced laboratory and safety equipment. Use is dependent on availability.
Some of our programs such as Robotics, Video Camera series, summer enrichment camps and our science camps make use of Brock's contemporary computer labs; time in these labs is generously donated to our program by Brock University Information Technology Services and the Computer Science Department. Use is subject to availability.
Trails and Fields
Located one hour from Toronto, Brock University sits at the centre of Canada's beautiful Niagara Peninsula, overlooking the City of St. Catharines. The Brock campus offers a picturesque and friendly environment in a park-like setting with wide-open spaces and quiet wooded trails. The Bruce Trail runs through Brock University, and acts as a setting for many of our programs. Hiking on these trails may give you the opportunity to witness a plethora of wild life; from groundhogs to hawks, you never know what you will see.
High ropes - Challenge Course - Accessible Course
Some of our programs include the opportunity to set goals on our high ropes course. Our two high ropes courses are approximately thirty feet high and have a variety of tasks and activities for the group to accomplish, each with a varying degree of difficulty. Each climber is supported by their team mates on the ground. No athletic ability is required, and with the use of our accessible course, all of our participants can be provided with a challenge.
For more information on our Challenge Course and answers to frequently asked questions click here.
Our 10 climbing tower allows participants to set goals as they choose to scale our 30 foot climbing tower. We operate a tower with 5 faces and 10 climbs, all with varying degrees of difficulty. Try our over-hang or select our rappelling station, there is a challenge for everyone. Note: not all programs use these facilities, use is subject to availability.
