Administrative Assistant Sally Lewis 905-688-5550, extension 4660 Shaver Building Room 300 http://www.brocku.ca/nursing The Department of Nursing offers an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree. Students wishing to pursue the four-year BScN degree will complete their first two years collaboratively at the Loyalist College campus in Belleville, Ontario or at the Brock University campus. Upon successful completion of the first two years students will be admitted to the final two years of the program at the Brock campus. Graduates will be eligible to write the provincial registration examinations. The BScN Degree Completion Program is a limited enrolment program designed for registered nurses wanting to obtain a BScN degree. The program normally requires successful completion of a minimum of ten Brock credits to be completed within six years.

1.  Admission to the BScN Degree Completion Program requires successful completion of a three-year diploma in nursing (or equivalent) with a minimum 70 percent overall average, registration to practice as a registered nurse from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
2.  In addition to the academic requirements, Brock University-Loyalist College Collaborative Nursing Baccalaureate Program students and BScN Degree Completion Program students must submit the following:
- Proof of Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Level C valid for the period of the clinical placements.
- Proof of Immunizations valid for the period of the clinical placements.
- Criminal Record Check may be required by some clinical placement agencies.

1.  Failure to succeed after two attempts in a practicum course will result in dismissal from the program.  
2.  Students require CPR certification prior to commencing NUSC 3P92.  
3.  In all 20 credit degree programs at least 12 credits must be numbered 2(alpha)00 or above, six of which must be numbered 2(alpha)90 or above and of these, three must be numbered 3(alpha)90 or above.
