Neil McCartney, Provost and Vice-President, Academic

Neil McCartney became Brock’s senior academic operating officer on 1 Dec. 2013.  He had previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, an appointment that first brought him to Brock in August 2011.

Prior to that, McCartney — a renowned researcher with an international reputation for his work on human aging, cardiac rehabilitation and spinal cord injury — had been chair of McMaster University’s Department of Kinesiology, and director of McMaster’s Centre for Health Promotion and Rehabilitation.  more »

Greg Finn, Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic

Greg Finn was appointed to the position of Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic on September 1, 2007. He first joined Brock University in 1985 as a lecturer in the Department of Geological Sciences, and after completing his PhD at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1989, he was appointed Assistant Professor. He served as Chair of the Department of Earth Sciences from 1996-2002 and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Mathematics and Science at Brock from 2003-2007.   more »
