Brock University Student Life & Community Experience will be coordinating a number of volunteer oppotunities throughout the Niagara Region to take place over Reading Break in February as a way for students to give back to their local community during their break from classes.

Here are the details for Brock Cares Alternative Reading Break: Niagara:
This year will be the first time Brock University Student Life & Community Experience will be hosting Brock Cares Alternative Reading Break: NiagaraWe coordinate a number of Brock Cares Day of Service initiatives throughout the year with both students and staff of the University. Brock Cares Day of Service is a chance Brock volunteers come together to contribute to the Niagara community by participating in service projects and volunteering at local not-for-profit agencies.
Our last Brock Cares took place on Saturday, October 1st. We sent over 100 Brock student volunteers to 13 different project sites to work on a variety of projects including painting, event assistance and planning, light gardening and meal preparation.
