Jobs & Justice Research Unit

The Brock University Jobs and Justice Research Unit brings together researchers from various disciplines and faculties with a shared interest in issues related to work and labour and their relationship to social, political, economic and environmental justice.

 

A strong commitment to principles of social, political, economic, and environmental justice guides our interdisciplinary approach to the study of work and labour. The objectives of the Research Unit are:

 

·       to promote and encourage interdisciplinary Labour Studies research.

·       to foster and coordinate collaborative research projects.

·       to organize activities and opportunities for dissemination of research.

·       to provide scholarly advice and support to members of the Research Unit.

 

The work of the Jobs and Justice Research Unit is managed by the Centre for Labour Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences and its activities are coordinated by a Director selected by members of the Research Unit collective.
