CPCF Reunion Weekend
Brock Days Reunion Weekend
CPCF Reunion Weekend
Enjoy the best Brock and Niagara have to offer at Brock Days, an array of homecoming and community celebrations running from September 16 to 25, 2011. CPCF events include the following:
Friday, September 16
CPCF Alumni Reunion
Scotiabank Hall, Room 312, 2-4 p.m.
Whether you're a Communication, Popular Culture and Film graduate, a current student, or a staff or faculty member, you're welcome to drop in. This is a great chance to reconnect with old friends and professors and to make some new connections. Following the department reception, attendees are invited to continue on to the Alumni Pub Night at the Mansion House.
Saturday, September 17
Hitchhiker's guide to the blogosphere, presented by Paxton Allewell ('05)
Welch Hall, Room 209, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Join Paxton for a multi-media journey through the exciting universe of blogs. This presentation will introduce you to 20 of the most extraordinary and interesting blogs around today. You’ll discover blogs about business, celebrities, and travel, and blogs that have become books and TV shows. On this guided voyage, you will go behind the scenes to learn the stories of the people who run the blogs, find out what makes a top blog, and (hopefully) discover a few blogs that you'll want to follow. Who knows? You might even want to start your own blog! Topics such as social media and online trends will also be touched upon in this seminar.
