Registration

Event registration will be open exclusively to Geography and Tourism Studies students until March 9th. If tickets are still available after this date, registration will open to other Brock students until March 15th.

Limited tickets are available for this event on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will open after reading week.

There are two steps to register for this event:

  1. Begin by filling out this survey: goo.gl/36ArSa
  2. Complete your registration for the event go to: careerzone.brocku.ca and sign in as a “Student” using your Brock ID and password. Then click “Campus Career” and “Events” to find the event on April 10th.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your organization to approximately 100 Brock University students, including those studying Tourism and Geography.

The four main objectives of this event are to:

  1.   Connect Brock students, faculty, and staff with tourism industry partners;
  2.   Give Brock students the chance to learn from tourism industry experts;
  3.   Discuss employment and research opportunities in the tourism industry; and
  4.   Identify experiential education opportunities in the local tourism industry.

Roundtable and Vendor Booth Networking (6:10pm)

During this session tourism industry experts will share their experiences with small groups of students in 15 minute roundtable discussions. Students will have the opportunity to visit four roundtables and the vendor booths during this time.

Networking (7:40pm)

During this session, students will be encouraged to network with industry experts. Students will have the opportunity to continue conversations from the roundtable networking session, or engage in new discussions.
