Note Taking

SSWD hires students already enrolled in a course to provide copies of their lecture notes. We then make these notes available to students who cannot take complete notes themselves. Both the note taker and the student with a disability are anonymous.

SSWD may contact instructors to help us find a note taker for a course, usually through an appeal to the class.

Computerized note takers are often not enrolled in the class, but are paid to attend class and will take notes on a laptop.
