||Beauty, Bodies and Cultures
||Intersectional examination of social constructions of beauty and the regulation of bodies in historical and contemporary periods, as well as regional, national and global contexts. Topics may include plastic surgery, genital surgeries, cosmetic, fitness and fashion industries, the veil, beauty pageants and eating disorders.
||Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
||students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits.

||Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in WISE 3P03.
