Aqua Zumba

An aquatic fitness class in shallow water combined with the music and energy of the popular Zumba classes.

Outdoor Early Riser Classes (Fitness & Yoga)
Start each day with an OUTDOOR fitness class.
Circuit Express focuses on muscle conditioning and aerobic intervals while Morning Glory Yoga will leave you feeling limber and relaxed for the day ahead.

Zumba

Introduction to Japanese Swordsmanship (10 classes)
This non-contact, non-combative course will introduce you to the etiquette and techniques of laido, used to develop mental and physical discipline. Wear loose fitting clothing and a t-shirt. Bring your own wooden sword and kneepads or purchase them at class.

Fencing (eight classes)
Learn the Western martial art of Olympic fencing through basic skills and tactics. Classes are taught by nationally certified coaches and implement the Canadian Fencing Federation Armband Instructional approach (grading). Additional information available at fencingniagara.com

Recreational Dragon Boating
Designed for people of all levels and ages, come out and experience fun and fitness on the water in a social environment. Learn the techniques of dragon boating and have fun doing one of the world’s most popular activities! We will start with the basics of paddling a dragon boat and introduce you to recreational racing. Sign up as an individual or as a crew.

Brock Dragons Competitive Dragon Boating
Designed for people interested in training and racing in the sport of Dragon Boat. You will develop your paddling skills and fitness level alongside other athletes. No paddling experience is necessary, but a good level of starting fitness is recommended. Dragon Boat Canada is supporting this program in order to further develop the Canadian University Racing League.

5 km Run Clinic
A personal trainer will help you develop your own training program and guide you through various techniques. Weekly classes include an info session and run. Runs will take place outdoors or on the indoor track (weather-based).
Information sessions include: Program design, goal-setting, stride, breathing, hydration/nutrition, injury prevention, stretching, running attire.
