The Interactive Arts and Science program, housed in the Centre for Digital Humanities, has an Instructor postion vacancy for the January-April 2014 semester.
Course: IASC 3P91 : Prototype Process and Development
Duties: The non-classroom time is made up of preparation of classes, student consultation, supervision of teaching assistant(s), marking or grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty. In addition, creating a course syllabus to be approved by the CDH Director.
Game development from concept through to production, including concept evaluation, storyboarding, work flow and team management. Introduction to Unreal game engine.
Qualifications: -Experience in the video game industry required
-Knowledge of development, production and workflow issues in the video game industry required
-Knowledge of and ability to teach Unreal game engine programming required
