The Department of Nursing offers students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science Nursing (BScN) four-year honours program, professional development, and professional upgrading.
BScN Honours - Brock University (full-time only)
Applicants may apply for admission to the four-year BScN Honours program that is offered entirely at the Brock University campus in St. Catharines. Following completion of the degree, students will be eligible to write the certification exam to become a Registered Nurse.
OUAC 105 applicants only: Enrolment in the BscNursing program is highly limited and admission is based on a first-come, first-serve basis until spaces are filled. A decision will not be made until all required documents and grades are submitted.
Due to the specialized nature of the Brock University BSc Nursing program, second degree applicants, as well as university and college transfer applicants should note that transfer credit is very limited and not guaranteed. Successful transfer applicants, regardless of past post-secondary studies, should expect to begin year-one studies in order to fulfill the unique requirements (such as practicum placements) of the Brock Nursing program.
Bachelor of Science Honours Nursing - Brock University/Loyalist College Collaborative (full-time only)
Applicants may apply for admission to the four-year BScN Honours program offered in collaboration with Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario. The first two years are completed at Loyalist College and the final two years at Brock University. Following completion of the degree, students will be eligible to write the certification exam to become a Registered Nurse.
