Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral (CGS D) and NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships-Doctoral (PGS D) provide financial support to high calibre scholars who are engaged in a doctoral program in the natural sciences or engineering. The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) offers two types of awards through one application. The CGS D will be offered to the top-ranked applicants and the next tier of meritorious applicants will be offered an NSERC PGS D.
Award Value: CGS D: $35,000 a year (for two or three years)
PGS D: $21,000 a year (for two or three years)

You may submit only one application per year to one Tri-Agency (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR)
You may submit an application to NSERC Doctoral and to the VANIER CGS competition in the same year.

Transcripts: Students must have their up-to-date and official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate studies submitted to the Faculty of Graduate Studies by October 7, 2013.
