Youth Conversations

Beginning this winter, Youth University in conjunction with Community Learning, will be offering a “big questions” series for kids. Like our Conversation Café, they will have the opportunity to discuss and engage with questions that have no easy answers. Young people will have the opportunity to learn to respect, listen to and understand a diverse range of views.

Our FREE Saturday morning conversations are aimed at youth, with the goal of engaging them through “big question” thinking. Through conversations we can help develop skills for critical thinking, listening and creativity in the context of meaningful discussion.

Big questions for winter 2013

What is the meaning of right and wrong?

Can two people disagree and both be right or is there always a right and a wrong? When is it okay to disagree?
