For those employees who have LTD coverage with the University’s current LTD carrier (OTIP):

FeelingBetterNow®: For those employees who have LTD coverage with OTIP, access to the FeelingBetterNow® program is included. This program was developed by leading mental health experts to help patients and their family doctor attain the appropriate diagnosis and treatment for the specific condition. The College of Family Physicians of Canada has reviewed and approved FeelingBetterNow® as a practice management tool to assist physicians in patient care. The resource was developed to assist with prevention, early diagnosis and ongoing management of common mental health issues and is also available to the eligible employee’s spouse and dependents. This is a confidential service and has no effect on an employee’s absence or potential LTD claim. Link: www.feelingbetternow.com/otip [1]            

CAREpath Cancer Assistance Program: For those employees who have LTD coverage with OTIP, access to the CAREpath Cancer Assistance Program for the covered employee and their dependents is included. CAREpath is a company that specializes in cancer related service programs such as: the CAREpath Navigation System, the CAREpath Survivor Support Program and the CAREpath Cancer Information Line. This program is a confidential service intended to support the University’s eligible employees throughout diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancer.
