Successful weekend for Brock Business Students

The weekend of January 20, proved to be very successful for Brock's Business students.

At the JDC Central event held at Carleton University in Ottawa, Brock students Oliver Corey, David Birch, Emily Snyder and Joseph Crawford placed 3rd in the Debate competition with David Birch being named the Best Overall Debate Speaker.  The full team of 47 students also won the Sportsmanship Award.

49 Brock students attended the DECA U Provincial Conference and Competition held in Toronto coming away with the following accomplishments:

Shannon Buckley - Top 3 in Oral Presentations for Restaurant and Food Service Management

Massine Bouzerar - Top 3 in Written Exam for Restaurant and Food Service Management

Mithulan Perinpanayagam and Max Marchuk - Top 3 in Oral Presentations for Hospitality, Travel and Tourism

Mithulan Perinpanayagam and Max Marchuk - 3rd place overall for Hospitality, Travel and Tourism
