Join us to celebrate Les McCurdy-Myers and the outstanding contributions he’s made to student life and development at Brock.
After earning an Honors BA in psychology from Brock, McCurdy-Myers eventually entered a doctoral program at the University of Toronto, where he also taught master’s and doctoral candidates. As manager of Personal Counselling Service and Leadership Development at Brock, Les has provided crisis management. He was instrumental in creating and delivering the Foundations of Leadership workshops to students, faculty and staff, and he’s trained hundreds of Brock residence dons and head residents for more than 30 years.
He’s served on the boards of the Canadian University and College Counselling Association and the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS), receiving the 2009 CACUSS Award of Honor. He received the Brock University Distinguished Service Award in 2005 and is a director on the Brock University Alumni Association.
