What is VolunteerFEST?
VolunteerFEST is the perfect event for students, staff and faculty looking for ways to get involved and make a difference in the community. VolunteerFEST will take place on Thursday. September 11th, 2014 from 10:00am - 2:00pm in the Guernsey Market Hall. Come out to this event to meet dozens of community agencies looking for volunteers!
Student Life & Community Experience wants you to get out and talk to as many agencies as you can at VolunteerFEST! As you talk to various agencies, ask the representatives you speak to if they can sign your passport for you. When you collect agency signatures and fill out your contact information on the passport, you can bring it to the Student Life & Community Experience booth to be entered into the prize draw.
While you're at VolunteerFEST, don't forget to stop by our Volunteer Zone to help work on charitable projects. Whether you have only minutes to spare or hours, you can contribute in our Volunteer Zone to help local and international agencies with simple, yet important, projects. At last year's Volunteer Zone, volunteers assisted the Niagara Furniture Bank with linen and donation sorting.
We look forward to meeting all of you on Thursday, September 11th!
