OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED IN THE GSA

There are lots of ways to get involved and make a contribution to graduate student life here at Brock.  Annual Executive Council Elections are held in April each year.  The attached [1] lists the job descriptions and expectations for the GSA Executives, Senators, Board of Trustees Member and the Program Representatives.

Please consider representing your department on the GSA Council as a Program Representative.  Nomination forms [2] can be dropped off at the GSA Office (MC C302) for 2013-14 Program Reps.  Program reps must be available to attend the monthly GSA Council meetings (see 2013-14 schedule [3]), and communicate regularly with their departments.

The GSA also works hard to ensure that the graduate voice is heard on the many committees that meet here at the university.  Volunteer Committee positions will be posted here on the website, and we also keep an updated list of students interested in serving on committees in the office. Just send your name, program information and contact info to gsaoffice@brocku.ca [4].
