CMA/MBA Timeline

Students enrolled in the two year MBA/CMA program complete the Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) as part of their MBA and attend a series of workshops as part of the CMA prep program in the Hamilton and Toronto area.

Every CMA candidate must pass the Entrance Exam prior to taking the Case Exam and must pass the Case Exam prior to beginning the Board Report.

Fall: Year 1
MBA Coursework
Apply for CMA Student Membership
Winter: Year 1
MBA Coursework
Spring/Summer
Optional Co-op Term
Fall: Year 2
MBA Coursework
Enroll in CMA/MBA program
Application Deadline December 19th.
Applications available at CMA website  or from Goodman Graduate Programs Office
Winter: Year 2
MBA Coursework
Apply for June CMA Entrance Exam
CMA Entrance Exam Preparation Program (April)
Spring:
Year 2
Optional Co-op Term
CMA Entrance Exam (June)
CMA Case Examination (August)

Winter/Spring:
Post MBA

CMA Board Report Assignment begins (January)

CMA Board Report & Presentations (June/July)
 

All candidates are required to obtain twenty four (24) months of work experience in a environment which allows for experience in management accounting.

Up to one year previously earned work experience will be considered if necessary and must be from a recognizable and verifiable organization.
