Kristian Knibutat graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Administration degree in accounting co-op from Brock University in 1986. He is a Partner and the National Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers Deals Practice which includes all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and restructuring. He also leads the Greater Toronto Area Consulting & Deals Practice.
In 1987, Mr. Knibutat received his Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, receiving the Price Waterhouse award for Superior Results.
Mr. Knibutat received his Chartered Business Valuator, having attained the highest mark in Canada on the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuator’s Entrance Examination, and in 2006 he was honoured as a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
In the past, Brock University has had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Knibutat as a guest lecturer on introductory accounting. He has also worked in association with companies such as BCE, Nortel Networks Corporation and the Special Committee of Magna. Mr. Knibutat has co-authored various published articles and papers, as well as presented for a number of reputable business associations and conferences, such as the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
Extremely active in the Oakville area, Mr. Knibutat is a member of a number of organizations. He has been Director and Chair of the Oakville YMCA and Treasurer of the Knowledge of the Environment for Youth (“KEY”) Foundation. He has also been Director of the Local School Parent Association and coach for various soccer teams.
